NOMAN is an Island: Race to End HPV and Prevent 5% of Cancers
Since 2013 NOMAN has been challenging participants to races that require as much mental grit as physical strength. All for one cause: to end 5% of cancers.
The human papillomavirus (HPV) causes 5% of cancers worldwide and 80% of people will come into contact with the virus at some point in their lives. The majority of HPV-related cancers can be prevented simply by vaccinating boys and girls against this devastating virus.
NOMAN is an Island is a program of the Anal Cancer Foundation.

“These events are phenomenal and being part of NOMAN is one of those unique experiences. It’s the buzz and atmosphere that you get from working with people you’ve never met before, from different walks of life but you’re all here for one cause. To raise conversation and create awareness around HPV, so that people involved can go on to spread the word, to help more people understand about why this vaccine is so important. I love being part of Team NOMAN.”
Mark Hunter, Olympic Gold Medallist, World Champion and NOMAN Ambassador
