Join us on March 17th, ahead of Anal Cancer Awareness Day, for the return of our special workshop, 'A Healing Journey through Writing for Those Affected by Anal Cancer'.
After the overwhelmingly positive response to last year's session, we are pleased to offer this meaningful experience again for our community.
Healing from anal cancer goes beyond physical recovery. It involves caring for your mind, body, and spirit.
Whether you are looking to unburden your thoughts, express what is on your heart, or strengthen your inner resilience, this special "Write to Release" workshop invites you to explore the therapeutic power of words. The session is designed to meet you where you are, allowing you to navigate the emotional complexities of your journey at your own pace, in your own space.
We will be guided by thriver Jenny, who will lead us through a combination of writing exercises, guided meditations, and reflective tools. Together, we will create a compassionate and supportive environment to explore emotions, build resilience, and cultivate peace.

Meet our host: Jenny Ford

Jenny Ford is an award-winning, bestselling author and the founder of Write to Release, a program that harnesses the power of expressive writing for emotional healing. Having faced her own cancer journey, Jenny understands the deep emotional impact a diagnosis can bring. She believes that while we may not have control over our bodies, we can take charge of our thoughts - and writing is a powerful way to do just that.
Expressive writing has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while promoting healing and self-awareness. Through journalling, individuals can build courage, confidence, strength, gratitude, and resilience, helping them process their emotions and reclaim their voice. Jenny's mission is to create a safe space for people to express their truth, free from judgement, and find healing through their words.
